Introduction
Borosilicate glass has superior quality and perfect flatness, but also has excellent heat resistance, optical properties, chemical stability and mechanical strength.
Basic properties
1. superior transparency, low fluorescence intensity and high infrared transmittance and ultraviolet
2. Very low coefficient of expansion, thermal shock resistance and long-term working temperature up to 450℃
3. excellent chemical stability, water, acids, alkalis and organic substances are highly corrosive tolerance
4. excellent resistance to scratching effect than high hardness and density of the low soda-lime glass 20%
5. Very low alkali content can be used as an excellent electrical insulator
